Yeah heroes is an awesome show! And I think you are right about those details the writers have missed out. The girl with Peter, stuck in the future what happens to her cause if the future has changed then will she still be in "that" future or she does not exist anymore. It's a very confusing thing. I'm not able to figure out what might have happened. I have a slight doubt that the writers must have skipped out on those facts because they did not have any good storyline connected to them.
